As part of the Baltimore Peace Movement weekend, the Epiphany Lutheran Church has combined a Flower Mart with ‘positive community’ volunteer vendors. We were invited to distribute Be SMART materials on secure storage and other gun violence prevention educational materials. The event will be outside–weather permitting–with flowers, low cost food, free goodies for attending children, a bounce house, and more. There will be a “passport to peace” where everyone who takes a passport can get it stamped at a table (stamps provided). The passport to peace will open up either a fun activity or learning opportunity.
