2022 Children’s Mental Health Matters! Campaign Virtual Fall Launch Meeting
November 9, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
A child’s mental health is priceless. According to a 2021 report released by Child Mind Institute on the impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on children’s mental health, about 70% of both children and adults reported some degree of mental discomfort, result in loneliness, irritability, or fidgetiness. Of those children, 55% felt more “sad, depressed or unhappy,” versus 25% of adults. By equipping adults with resources and improved understanding, we have the opportunity to change the trajectory of children’s lives.
At the 2022 Children’s Mental Health Matters! Campaign Virtual Fall Launch Meeting you will:
-
- Reconnect with why all children need our collective support more than ever
- Hear from our guest speaker, Jill Bohnenkamp, Ph.D. from the National Center for School Mental Health, about what kids are facing and how we can help
- Learn more about the Children’s Mental Health Matters! Campaign
- Hear from past and current Champions about how they have made an impact in their communities
This year, join the Children’s Mental Health Matters Campaign and help support children and families across Maryland!
